I’ve been watching this week shape up for a while: Thursday is absolutely crazy. There are 7 events all on the same day, 2 at 1:00pm ET and 3 at 2:00pm ET. Great minds think alike, as they say.
If you are planning your webinar schedule beyond this week, I recommend ‘Achieving agile procurement in digital transformation’ from tealbook on May 2nd at 2pm ET. The event will feature an introductory presentation from A.T. Kearney Vice President Hugo Evans.
BTW: If you haven’t already, sign up for our mailing list to be sure you get my weekly recommendations in your Inbox each Monday.

In a recent article, ProPurchaser President (and webinar presenter) shares a great story from ISM2019. He asked the attendes of his breakout session how many of them bought products made from steel and ¼ of them raised their hands. Of those, he asked how many had seen prices go up in response to tariffs, and they all kept their hands up. Finally, he asked how many of them had seen prices go back down since, and only two people still had their hands in the air. None of the other professionals had tracked market prices back down and acted on them to secure cost-transparent prices from suppliers. In this webinar, Rod will illustrate how important cost transparency is, both when markets are on the rise and when they are on the way back down.

Yup – it’s AoP Live time again! These events are so great – and I’m not just saying that because I moderate them. Registrants submit questions when they sign up as well as during the event, and those topics become the basis for a dynamic, entirely unscripted hour. This AoP Live session features UNA President and CEO Anthony Clervi, an experienced entrepreneur with a demonstrated history of executing and providing value within the group purchasing industry. He and Philip Ideson will talk about how procurement leaders can harness the power of GPO's as part of a broader strategy to maximize the impact of their scarce resources.

In this webinar, Antoine Martin, Managing Director of Accenture Digital’s Autonomous Systems Practice, and Phil Redman, Senior Manager Accenture Digital, Industry X.0 will talk about the logistical and regulatory considerations associated with drones – including the supporting role of the Internet of Things (IoT) and AI.
