Not the kind of risk that we are conditioned to assessing and mitigating (what a nice change of pace), but the kind of risk that I wish more people in our industry would take. In this SIG Town hall teleconference, Antonio Humphreys, Senior Manager of Global Procurement at Adobe, will tackle this issue head on. He is also going to discuss the competitive differentiators to our profession, key motivators, and how we are best positioned to evolve with the dynamic pace of change in the business world.

There is so much change in the works: in global commerce, in corporate strategy, and in procurement itself. With all of this change, there must be an expectation that individuals in the field adjust their knowledge and capabilities accordingly. In this event, Bill Huber, Managing Director at Alsbridge, will look at the new competencies we need to develop, the approaches we use, and the ways we measure our impact. Bill will focus primarily on strategic sourcing, and will provide predictions for the future and recommend career strategies for ambitious procurement professionals.
