About the presenter: Joanne Deys 
Joanne Deys is vice president of global sales and operations planning at Stanley Black and Decker. Ms. Deys is also president and a senior consultant at Brightside Alliance, LLC. Ms. Deys' experience as a Shingo lead examiner, along with experiences in automotive, aerospace, electronics, industrial, medical devices and pharmaceutical, enable her to articulate lean concepts and principles at all levels and in all areas of business. 

About the presenter: Shaun Barker 
Shaun Barker has been the assistant executive director for the Shingo Institute since 2001. He is responsible for the assessment value stream and its pool of approximately 160 examiners from industries around the world. He has personally participated in dozens of comprehensive site 
assessment visits to business and government organizations worldwide that have challenged for the Shingo Prize.
