The procurement events schedule continues to be slow, so I’m going to give you another 2 weeks’ worth of recommendations in one post. Check out these great options if you’re in the office chugging along like they are!
If you are planning your procurement webinar schedule beyond this week, I recommend ‘Introduction to Intelligent Sourcing Automation Bots’ from Keelvar on August 31st.
If you haven’t already, sign up for our mailing list to be sure you get my weekly recommendations in your inbox each Monday.
Bridging the Gap Between Procurement, AP, and Treasury through Procurement Transformation (AOP, Corcentric)
August 18th, 11am ET
By now, I’m sure you’re familiar with AOP Live events. There are no slides, no speaking points, just audience questions gathered during the registration process or submitted live during the event. In this AOP Live session, Philip Ideson and I will be joined by Joe Payne, SVP of Source-to-Pay at Corcentric, and Jennifer Ulrich, Senior Director of Advisory at Corcentric, as they field audience questions about where procurement, treasury, and accounts payable tend to fall out of sync, why it happens, and how we can fix it.
Categorypalooza 2021 (Art of Procurement, ProcureAbility)
** NEW DATE ** August 31st, 10am ET
If you’re a fan of category-specific insights, this is the event for you. Art of Procurement and the team at ProcureAbility are presenting the first event CategoryPalooza, “a summer festival of category ideas and insights” (color dust optional). The full schedule and session descriptions are now available on the event website, so check it out and save your spot!
Build or buy analytics for Procurement in 2021 (Sievo, Spend Matters, Danone)
August 26th, 11am ET
One of the key things you’ll notice in this event is that the phrase ‘spend analytics’ doesn’t appear anywhere. Sievo takes a much more expansive approach to analytics, looking at procurement’s total needs rather than focusing on spend alone. In this event, Sievo CEO Johan-Peter Teppala will be joined by Pierre Mitchell, Chief Research Officer and Managing Director at Spend Matters, and Julio Peironcely, Global Director Insights & Analytics Cycles & Procurement at Danone, to discuss ‘build v. buy’ in procurement analytics.
