Sammeli Sammalkorpi is one of the two original co-founders who established Sievo in 2003. Hailing from the very north of Finland, his parents had hopes he would become a reindeer farmer but instead he turned into a software entrepreneur and procurement advocate. Sammeli founded Sievo after gaining experience in management consulting and enterprise information technology and is now the CEO of Sievo.

Heta Ruikka is the Vice President of Product Management at Sievo, and she strives to develop Sievo as the best Procurement Analytics solution the world has ever seen. She holds a master’s degree from Aalto University in Industrial Engineering and Management, and has delved in the world of Product Management ever since graduating. Mohammed Kafil is a certified procurement consultant who has been coaching companies to establish resilient digital procurement operating models for over a decade now. At Kissflow Procurement Cloud, he helps mid-market and large enterprises with their digital transformation projects. In the recent past, he has also worked with Fortune 500 companies to implement platforms like Coupa, Ariba, Ivalua, and BuyerQuest.

Tom Cummins is Senior Director, Global Procurement, for Synovos, the largest independent MRO supply chain services company in North America. He is responsible for the company’s strategic category management and OEM activities, working with his team in developing sourcing strategies that leverage the company’s $500 million spend.

As Managing Partner for the Americas for Consus Global, Saurabh has been instrumental in leading sales and operations in our fastest growing market. After graduating from Cambridge University, Peter started his procurement career at Mars Confectionery, then was Procurement Director for Dun & Bradstreet Europe, the Department of Social Security, and the NatWest Group. He is a Fellow and was 2003 President of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, and has served as a non-executive director of two large public sector organisations and a growing private firm.  He founded his consulting firm, Procurement Excellence Ltd. in 2004 and from 2010-18 he was Managing Editor of the Spend Matters Europe website, read by thousands of procurement professionals every day. His first co-authored book, (with Fiona Czerniawska), “Buying Professional Services” was published by The Economist Books in 2010.  A second book, “A Procurement Compendium” was published in 2019, and Penguin Business is publishing his latest book in October 2020. “Bad Buying – How Organisations Waste Billions Through Failures, Frauds and F*ck-ups” lifts the lid on some amazing global stories of disaster in the business world!   

Sergii Dovgalenko is the Chief Procurement Officer in JSC “Ukrainian Railways” with 22 years of experience across multiple industries and geographies, where he contributed to some significant global procurement alliances and transformation projects.

Sergii has a specific interest in technology procurement, IT strategy and operational models, project management, and service delivery, to which he dedicated the book “The technology procurement handbook: a practical guide to digital buying”. 

Sergii is a Fellow of CIPS (FCIPS) and a licensed tutor.

Dr. Tom DePaoli, (Dr. Tom) is currently an independent management consultant, the Principal of Apollo Solutions, which does general business consulting in the human resources, supply chain and lean six sigma areas. His organization was self-founded in 1995. He retired as a Captain from the Navy Reserve. In other civilian careers, he was a supply chain and human resources executive with corporate purchasing turnaround experience and lean six sigma deployments. He has worked for over ten major companies and consulted for over fifty organizations throughout his career. Some of his consulting projects include: information systems projects, re-engineering organizations, transformation, e-procurement, e-commerce, change management, global sourcing and negotiating.
