In a world in which the network is the platform for communications on any device, anywhere, anytime – developing the capability to ensure integrity throughout your platform is an essential element of a global supply chain. Those companies and organizations that have developed such capacity can be seen as guides into the process for others.

This web seminar will offer a view of Cisco Systems’ approach to supply chain security, including:

  • Navigating the maelstrom of frequently overlapping security requirements being imposed by customers globally
  • Marrying process and technology to drive enhanced visibility and security in each node of the supply chain
  • Developing a set of flexible supply chain security disciplines that allow the right security in the right node at the right time
  • Partnering globally with industry and governments to establish a clear and limited set of global standards to enhance assurance, while permitting innovation and growth – identifying some of the standards to influence.

As Chief Security Officer for Cisco's Global Supply Chain, your presenter - Edna Conway -  develops the ongoing strategy used by Cisco Systems to assess, monitor and continuously improve the security of its global supply chain. This strategy also drives the Cisco supply chain’s cyber and security protection plan.
