IFPSM and Kogan Page are hosting a joint webinar on the "Challenges in the Food Supply Chain".

The global population is forecasted to surpass 9 billion by 2050. Such growth will put a huge strain on the world food supply. Moreover, most growth will take place in emerging markets, with greater demand for resource intensive meat and dairy, owing to a growing middle class. Developed markets are also witnessing a shift in consumption patterns, with ever more demand for food that is safe, fresh, heathy and ethically sourced.

The food supply chain has a huge obligation to meet the needs of a more dynamic and demanding set of consumers, whilst still developing a food supply chain that addresses financial and sustainability pressures.  The sector has to deal with change coming from various sources, sometimes simultaneously. This also has a major impact on how food supply chains operate and sustain.

In this webinar, Samir Dani:

•              Discusses the challenges facing today's food supply chains
•              Presents ideas for effective management of food supply chains
