Please join our lunchtime webinar on 23rd January at 12:00pm - 1:00pm GMT to examine the potential impact of Brexit scenarios on UK manufacturers and their supply chains.
As we pass the six month mark since the EU Referendum, manufacturing executives have ranged in their response. Some have reacted swiftly to the implications and are planning for potential Brexit scenarios to help mitigate risk and cost increases. On the other hand, others have been reluctant to plan or change while so much remains uncertain about the eventual outcome from Brexit negotiations.
A key area that we already know will be impacted by Brexit will be the movement of goods into and out of the UK, whether the trade is with the EU or the rest of the world. Such a change will create new trade barriers, both from a regulatory and administrative standpoint, but also in respect of additional costs which may be incurred post-Brexit on changes in Customs Duty and VAT.
Unlike many other aspects of Brexit that are unknown at this stage, you can understand and address the potential impact of many of the costs associated with your international supply chain now. This webinar will be hosted by Tim Sarson, Partner in KPMG in the UK's Tax practice, and Justin Benson, Director in KPMG in the UK's Industrial Manufacturing practice.
