It is almost 80 years since prize-winning economist Joseph Schumpeter observed that ‘technical invention depends for its success on commercial innovation’.
Today, an increasingly volatile world is forcing change upon us, with the need to become far more adaptive and to operate at speed. This demands dynamic processes and constant refresh of skills.
We are entering a future where machine learning and artificial intelligence will enhance and disrupt almost everything we do.
So as we look towards that future, what do ‘innovation and change’ mean in the context of our contracts and commercial processes? What should we expect and how should we prepare?
