In consulting, Bill has worked with some of the world’s greatest companies across a wide spectrum of industries and countries transforming Procurement and the Supply Chain. While supply chain management, risk, global sourcing, strategic planning, cost, and change management are his major focus, he has also developed many innovative methodologies, theories, practices, and tools, for the transformation of procurement and the supply chain. In some cases, these programs have resulted in breakthrough changes, impacting entire industries, and providing a competitive advantage to clients. He is also considered an expert in developing solutions when working with volatile commodities.

Bill is currently the Vice President of Operations for the Chartered Institute for Procurement & Supply, Bill is charged with establishing CIPS, the largest professional body for Procurement and Supply in the Americas.

Prior to CIPS Bill served as CEO and founder of Aripart Consulting, after more than 23 years at ADR North America. Under his leadership, ADR North America became a leading niche specialty-consulting firm, and has won several recognitions and awards. At the end of 2011, ADR NA was acquired by The Institute for Supply Management.

Well known in the purchasing, supply chain, and operations management community, as well as the food and pharmaceutical industries, Bill is a sought-after speaker and writer with many publications, including co-authorship of the book “Transform Your Supply Chain”. He is now working on a new book focused in the area of Supplier Relationship Management, and has published numerous articles as well.

Bill has a B.S. in Business Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology, and an MBA from Baldwin Wallace University. He has CPSM, C.P.M. and FCIPS-Chartered certifications. He is on the Board of Directors of the Joe Niekro Foundation.
