July 19-23: Dial P, Winning Category Strategies, Supplier Experience Management

AdobeStock_redphonesJULY

This week I added two of the traditional procurement conferences to the calendar: Procurement Leaders’ Americas Congress and World Congress. Both are a combination of in-personal and virtual events, which should accommodate all comfort levels and more global participation. It will be interesting to see how many of the fall conferences come back this year.

If you are planning your procurement webinar schedule beyond this week, I have something a little different for you to check out – a MINI MASTER CLASS on July 29th from 4-7:15pm ET run by the team at Supply Chain Now: Tips & Tools for Optimizing Professional Development & Job Seeking. Click here for more information.

If you haven’t already, sign up for our mailing list to be sure you get my weekly recommendations in your inbox each Monday.

Procurement Can Move with the Markets: Winning Category Strategies (Procurement Leaders, SpendHQ)

July 21st, 10am ET

Depending on how many questions you have left after attending Dial P on Tuesday, you may want to get some category-specific input from Shannan Billings, Senior Director of Global Sourcing at Shaw Industries, John Eustis, Vice President of U.S. Group Procurement at Toray Industries (America), Inc., and Kirk Poucher, Director at Insight Sourcing Group. They will share their point of view on how procurement can satisfy many competing objectives all at once.

Putting the Supplier Experience at the Forefront of Strategic Procurement (Art of Procurement, HICX)

July 22nd, 11am ET

This week we are finally kicking off our 3-part AOP Live series based on research conducted by HICX into supplier experience management. In typical AOP Live form, we’ll have a live video conversation with Ramit Mahajan, Head of Supply Chain Enablement IMEA at Henkel, and Charlotte Anabelle de Brabandt, speaker, trainer and ambassador of ISM - the Institute for Supply Management, without any slides! Anyone who registers is welcome to submit questions in advance or live during the event and we’ll ask as many of them as we have time for.
